At this point in the NBA season, it’s time to start separating the contenders from the pretenders. 

By now, we have some idea of who the league’s best teams are. With that said, we still have over half of the season remaining. If your team has been disappointing, they still have time to turn it around. 

The Dallas Mavericks had better hope that’s true. At 14-14, they’ve fallen well short of expectations in 2022-23.

Meanwhile, at 15-12, the Philadelphia 76ers have been better, but still disappointing. 

Until recently, the Phoenix Suns looked like the contenders we all thought they were. With that said, they’re on a skid. All told, each of these teams could use a boost.
