At some point, we have to start questioning a player’s potential. When someone is in the NBA for three or four years, and they make little progress, we have to ask ourselves – is this going to b a good player?
That’s the question with Reddish. In theory, he’s supposed to be a 3-and-D wing with secondary shot-creating abilities. In high school, Reddish drew Paul George comparisons.
In practice, he hasn’t justified those comparisons. Reddish’s poor defensive effort is probably why he’s in Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau’s dog house.
