Why The Philadelphia 76ers Do The Deal
We already offered some insight into the economy in this article. Here’s a quick math lesson: two is more than one.
The Sixers do this deal to increase their depth. They land two starting caliber players here at the expense of one. With a starry trio of James Harden, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey on the roster, that’s a sensible move.
The players they’re getting here fit as well. Buddy Hield is the best shooter in this trade. His floor spacing will maximize all three of Philly’s stars.
Oubre is merely passable in that regard, but he’s also a solid defender and a lethal scorer in transition.
