Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers are a team on the rise. Last year, they narrowly missed the playoffs. In 2022-23, they’ll hope to avoid that fate.
This team has most of the ingredients needed to compete. They’ve got franchise cornerstones in Evan Mobley and Darius Garland. Furthermore, they’ve got a solid supporting cast in Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love, Isaac Okoro, and others.
It still feels like they’re missing a piece. Could it be Tyler Herro?
If the Cavaliers do decide to bring Collin Sexton back, this suggestion is probably moot for Cleveland. There won’t be room in the rotation for both. With that said, Herro may actually be a better fit. He’s a stronger off-ball threat, which ought to suit Garland. He’s by far the best playmaker of the three, and so Herro’s off-ball gravity ought to compliment him more than Sexton’s ball dominance.

It may be a long shot. After all, the Cleveland Cavaliers can simply bring Sexton back without forfeiting assets. Still, landing Herro could help them take the next step.
