New York Knicks
The New York Knicks have not earned themselves a good reputation over recent years. By contrast, the Miami Heat have been a model of consistency. Still, there is one advantage the Knicks have over the Heat:
Draft picks. Lots and lots of draft picks.
In fact, the Heat’s current lack of draft capital has weakened their potential to broker a star trade. If they had a full arsenal at their disposal, Tyler Herro may have already been moved – along with Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, and four to six first-round picks for Kevin Durant.
Both the Knicks and the Heat have been linked to Donovan Mitchell. With that said, the Heat may not have the assets to get a deal done. The Knicks do, but they’d be able to hang onto some of them by flipping a smaller amount of draft capital for Herro instead.

If they were interested, the Heat should give them a call. The New York Knicks could help them replenish some of their draft stock, and probably send them an intriguing young player in the process.
