Toronto Raptors
In 2021-22, the Toronto Raptors made it a point to have several playmaking wings on the floor at once. Is Lonzo Ball a playmaking wing?
Yes and no. Ball is listed as a point guard. With that said, at 6’6 with a 3-and-D skillset, he still fits this team’s vision.
The addition of Ball would allow the Raptors, in theory, to have a size advantage on almost any team at any position but center in 2022-23. Don’t mistake this for a slow, prodding, bully ball team either. Their transition attack would be lethal.
The combination of Ball and reigning Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes alone assures that much. They’ll cause havoc in passing lanes, and they have the collective floor vision to make it count on the other end.

Throw in Pascal Siakam at the 5, and the Toronto Raptors will have the length and speed to be a dominant transition team in 2022-23. That sounds like a good enough reason for them to pursue Ball.
