Dallas Mavericks
The Dallas Mavericks could stand to improve their secondary ball-handling behind Luka Doncic. This is not a new concept.
When one pictures the type of player they could target, one may not picture Lonzo Ball. After all, we just highlighted his limitations as a playmaker in half-court sets.
On the other hand, the elite floor-spacing he does offer in the half-court would complement Doncic wonderfully. His strong perimeter defense would also compensate for Doncic’s deficiencies in the same area. There is, on paper, a synergy between these two.
Furthermore, Ball is a high-end playmaker in transition. His passing vision would still diversify this Mavericks attack.
