You’ve probably heard the details. Russell Westbrook couldn’t play with LeBron James. Anthony Davis couldn’t stay healthy. There are plenty of explanatory factors, but none answer the most important question: where do the Lakers go from here?
They’ll hope to move Westbrook for a co-star that suits James. It’ll be easier said than done. In the meantime, most would have them acquiring solid veterans to try to improve ahead of 2022-23.
