The Indiana Pacers began their rebuild ahead of the 2022 NBA trade deadline and have done a great job reshaping the roster. They have brought on high-upside, young talent and added some draft capital in the process.

This deal with the New York Knicks would be another step toward that. Evan Fournier can step right into the role that they were planning on Buddy Hield playing. Their contract lengths are essentially the same as Fournier’s final year is a team option, so they aren’t clogging up their books down the road.
Cam Reddish is the player that they would see as the centerpiece of this deal. He has prototypical two-way wing size and has immense potential. Receiving consistent minutes and staying healthy would help in his development and unlock that next level he is capable of reaching.
