2. Phoenix Suns
There are a lot of people watching what the Phoenix Suns are going to do in the coming days and weeks. They are the favorites to land Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets, as they are one of the two teams that have been revealed on his preferred landing spots list.
One of the key pieces as part of hypothetical trades involving the Nets and Suns is restricted free agent center, Deandre Ayton. While there are mixed reports about how much Brooklyn likes him, the Toronto Raptors would be a great landing spot for him.
Toronto needs help in the middle and Ayton would provide them with an excellent building block along with Scottie Barnes Jr. and Gary Trent Jr. Along with Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet, the Raptors would have quite a formidable lineup to contend with in the Eastern Conference.
Whatever role that the Phoenix Suns are envisioning for Durant should they acquire him, OG Anunoby can step right into. While not as dynamic of a scorer, Anunoby fits the mold of what the Suns are looking for. He would be an excellent pairing alongside Mikal Bridges on the wing as opponents would struggle mightily scoring on that duo.

Outside of Durant, there likely isn’t a better player than Phoenix can acquire in a sign-and-trade deal involving Ayton than Anunoby.
