3. Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers took a big step forward during the 2021-22 season. They finished in eighth place, losing to the Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks in the NBA Play-In Tournament, but it was still a successful campaign. It was the first winning season they had without LeBron James being on the roster since 1997-98.
They are certainly heading in the right direction and if they could find an upgrade on the wing, they could be in business. Cleveland should be making a call to the Raptors to gauge the possibility of making a deal.
OG Anunoby would be a perfect fit for what the Cavaliers are looking for. They need a two-way wing that can not only lead the defense but can offer some support for Darius Garland offensively, especially with Collin Sexton possibly not returning in free agency.
The wing position is truly the only spot that the Cleveland Cavaliers are lacking. Isaac Okoro has the potential, but right now, offers very little offensively. Lauri Markkanen was the starting small forward last season, as J.B. Bickerstaff found success with a jumbo lineup starting him alongside Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.

In need of a center, could the Raptors offer Anunoby for Allen straight up? It would be an old-fashioned one-for-one trade, with each team dealing from a position of strength to upgrade an area of weakness.
Anunoby would help balance the Cleveland lineup with Mobley moving over to the center spot and Markkanen alongside him. Allen would provide Toronto with the size they seek, with Scottie Barnes Jr. capable of sliding into Anunoby’s spot.
