Oklahoma City Thunder Will Have Two Picks In Top 10

The Oklahoma City Thunder are rumored to be interested in trading up from their 12th spot to guarantee themselves the opportunity to acquire Baylor’s Jeremy Sochan. Allegedly, they were willing to package the number 12 pick with young wing Luguentz Dort for Portland’s seventh-overall selection.

Even if Portland is uninterested in that deal, there should be a few other teams in the top-10 that should be highly interested in adding Dort’s two-way services to move down a few spots. The New Orleans Pelicans would make sense as a trade partner with their eighth pick.

The Sacramento Kings could use more defense on their wings, would love Dort’s budding scoring ability, and have the fourth selection in tow. It’s been said that they’d be willing to deal number four in return for a veteran to help their playoff push next season. Dort could certainly do that.

Oklahoma City has a surplus of assets and should easily find a way to sneak into the top-10 for a second pick.
