Eric Bledsoe
The Portland Trail Blazers are a team that is also looking to shake things up this offseason. After bottoming out during the second half of the 2021-22 season, Portland is looking to turn things around quickly. Their goal this offseason is to upgrade the roster around Damian Lillard and contend for a playoff spot once again.
One player that is likely to be on the move is Eric Bledsoe. Bledsoe was acquired as part of the package that sent Norman Powell and Robert Covington to the LA Clippers. He very well could be on his way to a third team in a calendar year this offseason.
The Kentucky product would bring some defensive intensity to the backcourt, something they need alongside Trae Young. He would be a good replacement for Delon Wright should the Hawks be unable to re-sign him in free agency this summer.
Eric Bledsoe’s best seasons are likely behind him, but he is still a capable secondary playmaker. His strengths are exactly what the Hawks are looking to add to their roster this offseason.

With Portland having a real interest in acquiring John Collins, Atlanta should make sure that Eric Bledsoe is a part of any deal that they may make. The No. 7 overall pick would likely be involved as well, giving the Hawks another opportunity to add a secondary ball-handler to the mix. Someone such as Dyson Daniels would fit the bill with that selection.
