Finch’s potential absence from the sidelines leaves assistant Micah Nori to lead the team in Game 1, while Finch communicates from the locker room.

Despite the setback, Finch’s leadership has been instrumental in guiding the Timberwolves to their first playoff series victory in two decades. Rising star Anthony Edwards, who scored 31 of his 40 points in the second half of the pivotal Game 4, highlighted Finch’s influence on the team’s growth.

Assistant coach Micah Nori, who took over for Finch during the final minutes of Game 4, emphasized the team’s resilient spirit and commitment to each other.

“Everybody has their role, everybody has each other’s back,” Nori said. “I know it sounds corny, but it’s just next man up, even with the coaching staff.”

Now, as the Timberwolves prepare to take on the Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals, questions arise about Finch’s availability on the sidelines.
