How This Trade Impacts Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers don’t have the strongest trade package to upgrade their roster with, so they cannot get picky when it comes to bringing in talent. They will have to take advantage of other situations that may arise around the league, and the Utah Jazz could present them with the perfect opportunity.
Utah sounds like they are going to trade at least one of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. That means they are looking to shake things up and if their wish list remains the same as it was ahead of the deadline, they will be looking for help on the wing.
Philadelphia provides them with three, but only two of which will be able to play next season as Danny Green tore his ACL in the postseason. Whoever takes over as head coach will be getting a defensive-minded player in Matisse Thybulle and an offensive-minded one in Forkun Korkmaz.
As for the 76ers, Bojan Bogdanovic provides them with a consistent performer offensively. His knockdown shooting would be welcomed with open arms as James Harden and Joel Embiid are willing passers to kick out to shooters. It was a role that Georges Niang failed in during the postseason and Daryl Morey would look to upgrade.

Bogdanovic provides consistent offense, but he won’t help the team’s defense. That is something Philadelphia may be concerned with, as they already have liabilities in Tobias Harris and Harden to work around. But, given the limited resources that the 76ers have, Bogdanovic would be a solid addition.
