Orlando Magic Receive: F Joe Harris, 2023 First-Round Pick (PHI)
Toronto Raptors Receive: F/C Jonathan Isaac, 2027 First-Round Pick (PHI)
Brooklyn Nets Receive: F OG Anunoby
Do the Toronto Raptors have an appetite for risk?
If not, they’ll steer clear of Jonathan Isaac. There are so many risk factors involved in acquiring him that he’ll jack up your insurance premium.
At the same time, the payoff could be tremendous. Isaac has spent most of his NBA career injured, but when healthy, he’s a one-man defensive system. Conventionally, he’s a 4, but this Raptors team doesn’t appear concerned with conventional positional designations. They could easily slot him in at their currently vacant starting center spot.
Imagine a frontcourt of Isaac, Pascal Siakam, and Scottie Barnes. The Raptors would start three mega-sized wings that can all handle the ball and make plays for teammates. The defense would be impenetrable, and the offense could be devastating as well.

If the Raptors see that vision, they may not be able to resist it. On the other hand, if they’d prefer a plus-sized ball-handling wing with a little less risk involved, the Nets could help them there as well.
