2. Rudy Gobert
The Utah Jazz looks like a team that will shake up their roster this offseason. They have been unable to get over the hump in the postseason and something has to change. There is a chance that Rudy Gobert becomes available and if that occurs, the Warriors need to pursue him aggressively.
He would cost the most of anyone on this list, but he is worth the price. His strengths are exactly what the team could use more of as an elite defender that can shut down the paint with his length.
Offensively he wasn’t afforded many chances with the Jazz, but he is a lob threat at all times, keeping defenses honest that want to shade their scheme toward the shooters on the perimeter.
That is likely similar to what the Warriors are hoping James Wiseman can do eventually, but the organization can’t afford to wait and see. Trading him for an established player would make a lot of sense for a team in win-now mode.

It would take more than just Wiseman, as his contract isn’t close to Rudy Gobert’s. To acquire Gobert, Andrew Wiggins would have to be included.
For both teams, a deal with that framework could be seen as a win. The Jazz is seeking help on the wing, especially someone that can make an impact defensively. Wiseman provides them with a high-upside building block to replace Rudy Gobert.

Shoring up the middle spot is key for Golden State going forward. It would hurt to lose Wiggins, but they have options in Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody to help fill the void should a deal get completed.
