The Miami Heat are one of the favorites to take home the NBA Championship in 2022. The team earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and has already jumped out to a 1-0 lead over the Philadelphia 76ers in their second-round series.

Miami is looking to take full advantage of the 76ers being without their superstar center and MVP hopeful, Joel Embiid. Despite all of the success that they had this season and are hoping to have in the coming weeks, Miami has been mentioned as a team looking to make some moves this offseason.

A Pat Riley-led organization is always going to do what is best for the franchise. Even if that means making some moves that could result in some surprising player movement, they will do it as long as it gets them closer to winning the Larry O’Brien trophy.

This offseason, a lot of those NBA trade rumors are likely to include Duncan Robinson. The sharpshooter struggled this season after signing a five-year, $90 million deal in free agency, the largest for an undrafted player in league history.

Could the San Antonio Spurs be a landing spot for him? Let’s take a look at this hypothetical trade that sends Robinson west to San Antonio.
