Mike Brown – Sacramento Kings
The third and final person to get a second interview with the Sacramento Kings will be Mike Brown. Brown is ultimately the best fit for the Kings going forward based on the available candidates.
Brown has a lot of experience as a head coach, something the Kings are seemingly taking into consideration with this search. He found a lot of success as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, going 305-187 in six seasons. Having LeBron James certainly helps, but outside of him, those were not very strong rosters.
He had a disastrous tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, lasting only five games into his second season on the job. However, he has spent the last six seasons as an assistant with the Golden State Warriors, picking up invaluable experience along the way.
Adding someone from that staff should be viewed as a win for the Kings, especially given how much they have struggled for almost two decades. Brown checks a lot of boxes that Sacramento is looking for and should have learned from previous stops.

Landing Brown would bring some respectability to the sidelined given what he has accomplished and the coaching staff that he is coming from. There is some talent on the roster to work with and a new voice in Brown could get the team on the track they are looking to get on.
