Minnesota went from a doormat in the Western Conference to 10 games over .500 and into the playoffs. The Timberwolves finished as the seventh seed in the conference this season and will have a chance to qualify for series play. They have taken a step forward because they have been able to remain healthy and have their top players produce consistently.

Karl-Anthony Towns was able to stay on the floor and avoid injury while Anthony Edwards is quickly blossoming into a star. Now, the Minnesota Timberwolves can look to build around their centerpiece players and Collins could join that exclusive group.

Towns takes on the role of a big man that can step out and shoot from deep but mans the center position. The spacing creates for a lot of intriguing options for a player like Collins, whose cutting and driving off the catch would be maximized.
