1. Donovan Mitchell

There have been some rumors floating around that the Utah Jazz could look to make some major changes this offseason. They have fallen short of expectations for years in the postseason as the same shortcomings continue occurring.

Right now, they are down 2-1 in their series against the Dallas Mavericks in the postseason despite Dallas being without their best player, Luka Doncic. Everyone who wants to see the Knicks turn things around should be excited about that start, as an Eastern Conference scout told Ric Bucher that the Jazz is a first-round exit away from Donovan Mitchell being a Knick.

Well, they are halfway to that first-round exit occurring. Out of all of their playoff losses in recent years, this could very well be the worst should it happen. Donovan Mitchell is the No. 1 dream trade target for New York this offseason.

He brings everything to the table that they need. He isn’t a quintessential point guard, but he is a solid playmaker in his own right. His scoring prowess would play well alongside RJ Barrett, whom the Knicks would be looking to pair him with, not trade him for.
