Zach LaVine has come a long way over his eight years in the NBA. This summer, he’ll look to be paid accordingly.

Entering the league in 2014-15, LaVine had all the tools, but none of the polish. He’s always been an elite athlete, as footage from his iconic dunk contests will tell you. As his career has progressed, he’s developed into an elite player.

Now, LaVine can score however you want him to. This season, he averaged 24.4 points per game with a blistering 60.5 True Shooting % (TS%).

Those numbers were actually a step down from 2020-21 when he averaged 27.4 points per game on 63.4 TS%. Consider that a product of assimilating DeMar DeRozan into the Bulls’ offense.
