The Chicago Bulls are going to make the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2017 this season and while a lot of credit has to be given to the play of DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine has been just as important to the Bulls’ success.

Averaging 24.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and shooting 47.9% from the floor, 39.5% from three-point range, LaVine has continued to prove that he is one of the best offensive weapons in the league.

Not only has he flown under the radar this season from a statistical perspective, but Zach LaVine is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, making him one of the best available players this upcoming offseason.

At 27-years-old and making the All-Star Game in back-to-back seasons, LaVine is expected to receive multiple offers from teams across the league once free agency begins, potentially making him the highest-paid player in the 2022 free-agent class.

When asked about his pending free agency, Zach LaVine has shot down all speculation about what the future holds for him, stating that he is focused on the Bulls’ current postseason run, but LaVine did mention about a month ago that he should be getting “what he deserves” in his next contract.

With the free-agent market expected to be small in terms of All-Star quality talents becoming available, Zach LaVine is going to be a hot topic of discussion heading into the offseason.

Will he remain with the Bulls or could LaVine end up signing somewhere else on a new, high-paying, long-term deal? Let’s take a look at the early Top-3 options for Zach LaVine heading into free agency.
