Teams That Could Potentially Be Interested In Paul George

While the LA Clippers should not trade Paul George, you never know what could unfold during the offseason. We have already seen George once commit to a franchise and look to be traded shortly after, which is how he ended up in Los Angeles in the first place.

If he were going to be traded, there are a few teams he would make a good fit for. The first team that comes to mind is the upstart Cleveland Cavaliers.

Cleveland could certainly use some help on the wing in their rotation. Bringing in a productive veteran with playoff experience such as George would really help the team.

For a roster lacking in experience, George would provide a big boost at a position of need.

Two more upstart teams that could look to make that next jump would be the Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies. Both teams are having excellent seasons and look poised to cement themselves among the playoff contenders in the Western Conference.

Adding George to the mix could be that piece to get them over the edge, especially for the Grizzlies. He would provide them a go-to scorer to pair with Ja Morant while being a strong defender as well.

The Atlanta Hawks, in need of consolidating their roster and bringing in some defensive-minded players, would also be an intriguing landing spot for George. A match could be made including John Collins in a return package to bolster the frontcourt.
