Frank Vogel – Los Angeles Lakers
First of all, the Lakers need to make the playoffs via the play-in tournament, but Frank Vogel is facing and has faced the most pressure out of any coach in the entire league this season.
The postseason may not even determine Frank Vogel’s future with the Lakers simply because this team is on the verge of being out of the play-in tournament with just limited games remaining this season!
Picked by many to be this season’s champions, the Lakers have stumbled all year long and have not been able to find any consistency with their old-aged roster.
Frank Vogel and the Lakers’ coaching staff is not 100% to blame here, as plenty of players has not lived up to expectations placed upon them and Los Angeles’ front-office doomed this roster for failure in the offseason, but someone has to be the scapegoat for what has transpired this season and it is going to be Vogel.

Currently 31-42, the Lakers are just a half-a-game up on the Pelicans for the 9-seed in the Western Conference and the Spurs are still in the hunt as well, as they trail Los Angeles in the standings by just two full games with each team having nine games remaining.
Should the Lakers miss the play-in tournament altogether, it will not be surprising to see Frank Vogel and the Lakers go their separate ways immediately following the conclusion of the regular season.

If they do make the play-in tournament and claim the 8-seed by winning two elimination games, how the Lakers do in their series against the presumably 1-seeded Phoenix Suns will determine everything.
Maybe the Lakers can win one or two games and make this series somewhat interesting, possibly saving Frank Vogel and allowing him to stay on for at least one more season in Los Angeles.

No team and no coach is facing more pressure the last few weeks of the regular season leading up to the playoffs than the Lakers and Frank Vogel, which is why Los Angeles could very well be looking for a new head coach in the offseason.
