With the buyout market not presenting much action this season and the NBA playoffs right around the corner, many teams will begin to put together their plans for free agency, which is set to begin within the weeks following the conclusion of the 2022 NBA Finals.

The pending free agent class this year does not present many big names compared to past years, but there are still quite a few notable names that will be hitting the open market. 

Zach LaVine is the biggest name who will become an unrestricted free agent, followed by Miles Bridges, Deandre Ayton and Collin Sexton as young, former first-round picks who are all set to become restricted free agents. 

There is also the possibility of players like Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, James Harden and Russell Westbrook becoming free agents should they decline their player options for the 2022-23 season.
