The Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets are heading in different directions.
The Charlotte Hornets are on the rise in the Eastern Conference, while the Kings continue to toil in the Western Conference. But, there is a potential deal that could be made to help both teams improve.
This trade was proposed by Greg Swartz of Bleacher Report. He compiled trade ideas for some of the league’s most hopeless teams, which were the ones that were least likely to make the postseason at the time of publishing.
The Kings fell into that category and will certainly shake their roster up this offseason. Richaun Holmes seems to not have a spot in the rotation and is someone the team could look to move this offseason.

They flip him to the center-needy Hornets in exchange for an upgrade on the wing in Kelly Oubre Jr. The Kings have needed help at small forward for a while now and are getting it in Oubre, who is bouncing back in a big way for Charlotte after some difficulties last season with the Golden State Warriors.
