Extend Kyle Kuzma On New Contract
The opposite of going out and trading for a big name on the trade market this offseason, the Wizards should strongly consider keeping what they have with Kyle Kuzma.
When Kuzma was with the Lakers, prior to the arrival of Anthony Davis, he put together a tremendous rookie season and second year in the league. A pure scorer on the wing, Kyle Kuzma can play one-on-one, as well as being a primary facilitator, as he has proven with the Wizards this season.
There really are no limits to Kuzma’s game and while he can absolutely get better defensively, there are no questions as to what he can achieve on the offensive end of the floor based on what we have seen from him this season.
Seeing what he can do with Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis on the floor together is definitely something the Wizards should be interested in seeing, especially since all three players can play off-the-ball.

Kyle Kuzma is under contract through the 2023-24 season, as he has a player option for the final year, which is why the Washington Wizards could look to sign him to an extension in the offseason.
At just 26-years-old, Kyle Kuzma is just now entering the prime of his career and will be doing so with the Washington Wizards.
They should have no need to let him go after he has been their most efficient player this season and long-term, Kyle Kuzma can be someone the Wizards build around.
