The Orlando Magic put a relatively high asking price on Robin Lopez ahead of the trade deadline, which resulted in him staying put. The team obviously likes having the veteran around as a presence for the younger centers on the team, otherwise, they’d have lowered their asking price at the deadline.
It seems as if it is just a matter of when, not if, that Lopez is bought out. He will certainly not be lacking for suitors as plenty of contending teams will be lining up for his services.
On the season, Lopez is averaging 7.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.6 blocks in only 17.3 minutes per game. He would be a solid backup big man and two teams stick out as potential landing spots; the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks.
Golden State has been interested in acquiring him previously and they could use some insurance in the frontcourt. With James Wiseman still working his way back, Kevon Looney is the only other center on the roster. With Draymond Green also injured, it is an even more pressing need.

But, they cannot compete with the chance for Lopez to play again with his brother, Brook Lopez. The Bucks can also provide him with consistent minutes as the center spot has a void with Brook still sidelined following back surgery.
The Warriors will push, but it will be the Bucks that land Lopez with one of their open roster spots.
