Depth Concerns For Philadelphia 76ers?

Giving up Seth Curry and Andre Drummond to get James Harden is not being talked about enough, as Curry and Drummond were two of the most effective secondary talents on the 76ers’ roster this season. 

As a team, the 76ers rank just 27th in the league this season in bench points, which puts a ton of pressure on Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tobias Harris to be the focal points down the stretch run of the season. 

This team can definitely achieve greatness, but we truly need to see this team at full strength and on the floor for at least a week before we can deem them, true championship contenders. 

James Harden has seemed to have a nagging hamstring injury dating back to the playoffs last season in Brooklyn and Joel Embiid has always had durability and injury concerns, which could ultimately hold Philadelphia back from winning a title. 

Trading for James Harden is a move that the 76ers had to make as a franchise, but if they do not win a title this season, they could be in big trouble not only because of all the money they owe Harden, Embiid and Harris, but because James Harden could turn around and quit on them just like he did with the Rockets and Nets.
