When the Brooklyn Nets traded for James Harden from the Houston Rockets last NBA season, many around the league believed that the Nets’ “Big 3” of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and now James Harden would be virtually impossible to stop.
Three of the greatest scorers of this generation being on the same team together, competing for championships in the Eastern Conference for at least the next four to five years…
Well, at least that was the thought process in Brooklyn when this trade was made.
Now, just over 13 months later, James Harden is now a member of the Philadelphia 76ers, one of the biggest rivals to the Brooklyn Nets.

The fallout between Harden and the Nets really was a shocking revelation during the 2021-22 season, but tensions had been boiling in Brooklyn for quite some time now.
After all, the Nets’ “Big 3” only played in a total of 16 games together not only due to injuries but because of Kyrie Irving sitting out half the season due to him not being vaccinated and not being able to play per New York City health guidelines.
