A Look At James Harden’s Season So Far
Many are saying that James Harden is having a “down year”, but so far this season, he has averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 10.2 assists, and has shot 41.4% from the floor. If this is a down year, then only 10-15 players in the entire NBA are actually having decent seasons!
For his standards, this may be a down-year for James Harden, but this is exactly the kind of production the Philadelphia 76ers have been missing.
Joel Embiid is most definitely the front-runner for this year’s MVP award with a little less than eight weeks to go in the 2021-22 regular season, yet he alone cannot carry the 76ers to a championship.
Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey have been key secondary scorers for this team, but the Eastern Conference is no joke this season. The Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, and even the young Cleveland Cavaliers have all emerged as possible championship contenders, leaving little room for error in the City of Brotherly Love.
