Does this trade make sense for the Atlanta Hawks?
If they can trade a handful of role players and some first-round picks for Jaylen Brown, then the Atlanta Hawks should be thrilled. At just 25-years-old, Jaylen Brown is one of the younger All-Star talents in this league and he is only getting better.
Through 37 games this season, Brown is averaging 24.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and is shooting 45.6% from the floor, 36.2% from three-point range. In addition to his contributions offensively, Jaylen Brown is also one of the better wing defenders in the league because of his athleticism and 7-foot wingspan.
This pairing of Trae Young and Jaylen Brown would be lethal for the rest of the Eastern Conference and the best part about this deal for the Hawks is the fact that they keep Clint Capela and John Collins as well.
Their bench depth would be limited, but their core group of Young, Brown, Collins and Capela would surely make for a tough team to try and stop.

It is unlikely that Atlanta could get this deal done, but it would ultimately save them money in the long-run while also giving them another All-Star to build around.
