The Miami Heat have been rolling lately. They are 7-3 in their last ten games and have secured the top spot in the Eastern Conference for now. Everything seems to be going well in South Beach. But that doesn’t mean they are void of NBA rumors.
Miami is reportedly open to trading sharpshooter Duncan Robinson ahead of the February 10 trade deadline. Robinson inked a five-year, $90 million contract extension this past offseason, but he’s not playing at the same level he has in years past.
Instead, guard Max Strus has surpassed Miami’s expectations and has even leapfrogged Robinson in the rotation for now.
With Strus being on a minimum contract, trading Robinson would open up some breathing room for the Heat moving forward.

That being said, Robinson isn’t necessarily shooting badly from deep. Plus, he’s been on a hot stretch throughout January. There are plenty of shooting-hungry teams around the league who would love to get their hands on Robinson.
One team that stands out is the Dallas Mavericks. They could use some extra scoring around Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis, and Robinson is a solid catch-and-shoot option.
