Dallas Mavericks Receive: G Caris LeVert
Indiana Pacers Receive: F Josh Green, C Moses Brown, F Reggie Bullock, 2024 First-Round Pick, 2022 Second-Round Pick

This offer may not seem the most enticing for the Indiana Pacers, but it’s probably the best offer the Dallas Mavericks could put together (without giving up Jalen Brunson).

Indiana would get two young players and a pick, while the Mavs would get some extra scoring help.

Caris LeVert has played well this season, ranking third on the Pacers in minutes and second in scoring. He’s averaging 18.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from three-point range.

Josh Green is still super young, but neither he nor Moses Brown is getting many opportunities on the Mavs this year. Green is averaging 4.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assists on 54.8/35.0 shooting splits. Brown is putting up 3.2 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Reggie Bullock would be thrown in simply for salary-matching purposes, as he hasn’t panned out as well as the Mavs wanted when they signed him this past offseason. Plus, Indiana would get an unprotected first and a second-rounder in this one, too.

Again, some might think the Pacers could get more for LeVert, and maybe they can, but this deal isn’t that bad. For what reasons should the Pacers consider this deal? Why would the Mavs be interested in offering this package?
