Would this trade make sense for the Indiana Pacers?

For Indiana, this would definitely help them kickstart a much-needed rebuild. They would be getting three young players oozing with potential. If the Indiana Pacers handle their rebuild correctly, all would be getting ample time in Indiana, too.

Precious Achiuwa, despite his poor shooting splits, has shown some real promise during his time with both the Raptors and Heat. He can handle the ball well for a big man but just has to work on his jump shot a bit more. Once he does that, his ceiling will be sky high.

Malachi Flynn has had somewhat of a down year for the Raptors, but he hasn’t gotten much of a chance in the rotation. He’s a sparkplug player, and would obviously get more of an opportunity in Indiana.

Lastly, Dalano Banton is a rookie who’s shown flashes of being a quality player in the NBA. He’s a big guard who can handle the ball, but like the other two Raptors youngsters, just needs to get his shot down.

Goran Dragic would likely just spend the rest of the season there before moving on, but he would need to be included in order to make the money work. Overall, though, getting three young players and two firsts would be a solid haul for Domantas Sabonis.
