Sacramento Kings Receive: C/F Anthony Davis, G Kendrick Nunn, C DeAndre Jordan
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Buddy Hield, F Harrison Barnes, C Richaun Holmes, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2024 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick (Swap), 2025 First-Round Pick (Swap)
In this NBA trade scenario from Hoops Habit’s Jack Simone, the Los Angeles Lakers would be ending the Anthony Davis era by sending him to the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings would hang onto not only Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell, but De’Aaron Fox would also remain in the fold. Davis would presumably slide into the starting center position with no shortage of needs facing the team on the wing in the short-term.
It took a lot for the Lakers to acquire Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans and it would take a lot for them to consider parting with him. Keep in mind, Kendrick Nunn and DeAndre Jordan would be included, too.
In return, Los Angeles would receive Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, and Richaun Holmes while landing two future first-round picks in 2022 and 2024 while receiving first-round pick swaps in 2024 and 2026.
