1. Minnesota Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves look like they will be in the thick of things in the Western Conference playoff picture. When they have had their full allotment of players, they have been very competitive.
Throughout the offseason, they were in the market for a power forward. They were connected to numerous players, such as John Collins and Danilo Gallinari were both mentioned as possible trade targets. If they are serious about making a playoff push and becoming buyers, Harrison Barnes would be an excellent trade target for them.
Barnes would fill their need at power forward, capable of stepping right into the starting lineup alongside Karl-Anthony Towns in the frontcourt.
Normally a strong offensive team, the Minnesota Timberwolves find themselves struggling on that end of the court with the 22nd overall offensive rating. Given how efficient Barnes is, he could help boost that ranking.

They are a high-volume 3-point shooting team, ranking third in makes and second in attempts. However, it is not efficient, as they are 18th in 3-point shooting percentage. Adding someone that shoots it as well as Barnes does with the volume the Minnesota Timberwolves attempt them at is a good combination.
Defensively, where they had struggled in seasons past, they are playing well. With the 12th overall defensive rating, the Minnesota Timberwolves are doing a good job containing their opponents. Barnes isn’t a slouch on that end of the court and would help keep them hovering around the top-10.

Outside of Towns, Anthony Edwards, and likely D’Angelo Russell, anyone else could be had in a trade on the roster. Desperate to make a playoff push, a lottery-protected first-round pick could likely be on the table as well.
