3. Utah Jazz
The Utah Jazz is among the best teams in the NBA. They are excellent on both ends of the court as they have the No. 1 offensive rating in the NBA and No. 6 defensive rating, resulting in the second-best net rating in the league.
They are 24-9 on the season, but they do not want to get complacent. The Utah Jazz are used to finding success in the regular season, as they had the best record in the NBA during the 2020-21 campaign, but they have not found the same success come playoff time.
Looking to change that in the 2022 postseason, they are looking to make an upgrade to their forward rotation. They are seeking a defensive upgrade for the starting five and Harrison Barnes could be someone they target.
Barnes’s versatility would provide Quin Snyder and the Utah Jazz with plenty of options in the frontcourt. If the team needs more defense, Royce O’Neale could start alongside him with Bojan Bogdanovic heading to the second unit. If they need more offense, it could be Bogdanovic playing alongside Barnes with O’Neale shifting to the bench.

For a Utah Jazz team looking to make some noise in the postseason, Barnes would be an excellent addition. Joe Ingles’s expiring contract and a first-round pick are likely what they will be offering to make a trade. That may not be enough for the Sacramento Kings to move Harrison Barnes, but a first-round pick is always appealing.
