Would this trade make sense for the Brooklyn Nets?
Right now, there are not a lot of reasons for the Brooklyn Nets to keep Kyrie Irving. He may be brought back to play in road games but that also isn’t a plan the team is committing to for the remainder of the season.
Getting Irving back onto the floor could at least present an opportunity for the Nest to showcase the guard — enticing teams in need of a big move to be convinced into making a deal.
When he plays, Irving is elite but that is the problem. He has found reasons to not step on the floor over the last two years in Brooklyn.
When looking at the return, the Nets would be bringing back Spencer Dinwiddie to fill the starting point guard role — bringing a more stable option at the position. Meanwhile, Kyle Kuzma could add needed lineup versatility.
