If the Los Angeles Lakers are unable to maneuver a trade for Hield due to price or another reason, there are other shooters they could target.

There are going to be plenty of veteran players that could be had between now and the trade deadline.

Even though Hield would be the ideal choice, Eric Gordon wouldn’t be an awful contingency plan for Los Angeles.

Given the state of the Houston Rockets, Gordon sees an inconsistent allotment of minutes. While the Rockets are taking a youthful approach, Eric Gordon is still a capable scorer, and he can be efficient enough from deep to warrant trading for him.
