Golden State Warriors Receive: G/F Bradley Beal, F Kyle Kuzma
Washington Wizards Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, F Jonathan Kuminga, GSW 2022 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected)

Near this past year’s NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors and GM Bob Myers were very active in trade talks pertaining to both of the Warriors lottery picks (Picks #7 and #14), as well as Andrew Wiggins and James Wiseman.

Damian Lillard, Bradley Beal, and Pascal Siakam were three potential targets for the Warriors, but trade talks never progressed, resulting in them taking Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody with their lottery picks.

If the opportunity comes their way to not only add Bradley Beal, but Kyle Kuzma as well, the Warriors will likely be highly interested, hence why they could be willing to sacrifice Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and a first-round pick.

Wiggins came to Golden State during the 2019-20 Trade Deadline and since then, he has continued to grow into a solid two-way wing, averaging 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals and shooting 37.5% from three-point range.

At just 26-years-old, the former No. 1 overall pick still has the potential to be a key two-way wing in this league, especially for a team like the Wizards, who would be facing an uphill rebuilding process without Bradley Beal.

As for James Wiseman and Jonathan Kuminga, they are both young, unproven talents in this league, but each of them are players with insanely high potentials. Wiseman has shown flashes of being a “Chris Bosh-like” big man in this league and Kuminga is another lengthy, athletic wing-like Wiggins who has the potential to be a two-way x-factor with time.

These three players, plus a first-round pick from Golden State is definitely a lot of future value for the Washington Wizards to receive in a trade involving Bradley Beal, but they may need more. When the Pelicans traded away Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers, they received Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, three first-round picks, and a first-round pick swap.

If Washington is going to trade Bradley Beal in the middle of the season, they may need to not only receive Wiggins, Wiseman, and Kumigna, but several first-round picks/future draft assets from the Warriors or whatever other team is involved in the deal since Beal has averaged 30.9 points and 5.2 assists per game the last two seasons in Washington.

Given that they do have a solid amount of talent this year, Washington does have a chance to be better than they were during the 2020-21 season with Beal and Westbrook paired up together, but time will tell what the Wizards will look like.

Bradley Beal’s future is in question, but seeing as he has remained loyal to this Wizards franchise over the years, he will most likely continue to be loyal in order to earn a super-max contract worth upwards of $230M over five years.
