Would this trade make sense for the Dallas Mavericks?

They might have lost to them in the last two years, but the Dallas Mavericks could get together with the LA Clippers for a trade moving forward. It would be worth it for the Mavericks if it is possible to get a disgruntled Porzingis and his contract off the books.

Doncic finally got his extension done while Tim Hardaway Jr. signed a new four-year contract in free agency. The backcourt is in place for the Mavericks, and now it is time to put the right pieces around them.

Porzingis has struggled with injuries, and the front office could be growing impatient. Ibaka would be a replacement download despite being a different player than Porzingis.

Marcus Morris Sr. is another experienced veteran with experience in some big spots. This is a chance to add more shooters along the perimeter around Doncic, who is one of the best passers in the league. Luke Kennard and Serge Ibaka could slot in as helpful contributors that complement the team’s superstar, too.
