Would this trade make sense for the Denver Nuggets?

The benefit for the Denver Nuggets here is clear. Bradley Beal is one of the top players in the game and would put together a big three for a team looking to win a championship. A backcourt of Jamal Murray and Beal is something that should excite Nuggets’ fans right away. This year, there is an extra urge to get Beal on the roster.

Murray might not be ready for the regular season after suffering a knee injury. This means the Nuggets could be without their second-best player for the majority of the year. The addition of Beal is something that could makeup for Murray and add that extra dynamic once he returns.

Beal is a big-game player. He has not had the chance to perform in them being in Washington but he can score at will and has to want to win. He is saying the right things to the public but Beal would have to welcome a deal to a championship-ready team like the Nuggets.

The fit is clear and this would make the team even more difficult to defend. Jokic is the reigning MVP and Beal has been in the top two in scoring in each of the last two seasons. When Jamal Murray returns from injury, the Nuggets would have a potent scoring trio.

This would give the Nuggets one of the best trios in the league and give them a chance to compete with other top teams in the Western Conference. It would almost be a necessity to keep up with some of the teams who have stacked star players in recent years in order to win an NBA title.
