Marvin Bagley III – Sacramento Kings
It seems like we have been talking about Marvin Bagley III being available in trade talks for months now, yet no teams have really put together a trade to try and acquire him. Maybe Sacramento is asking too much for their No. 2 overall pick, but at this moment, Bagley’s value is continuing to decline as time goes on. He remains a name to watch in NBA trade rumors.
The Kings’ forward seems to be unhappy with his current situation in Sacramento and who can blame him! Sacramento has not been to the playoffs in 15 seasons and the 2021-22 season is likely going to mark 16 consecutive seasons in which the Kings have not reached the playoffs.
Time and time again, this organization makes the wrong decisions in terms of roster reconstruction and while they have some solid pieces right now, they are still not close to being anything more than a threat to win 30-35 games during the regular season.
De’Aaron Fox is their All-Star-like player that the Kings will be building around for the foreseeable future and both Tyrese Haliburton and rookie Davion Mitchell look like very solid pieces to build with around Fox, but guys like Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley III will all likely be moved fairly soon for more future value.

Teams looking for a young, versatile power-forward who is in the final year of his contract should look no further than Marvin Bagley III, especially since he is looking for a fresh start. The 22-year-old has averaged 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and has shot 50.0% from the floor through his first three seasons in the league.
