As mentioned above, the Lakers added Ariza, Bazemore, Monk, and re-signed Horton-Tucker to improve their depth on the wing. There’s a chance that Los Angeles chooses to use a roster spot to bring back Jared Dudley as a glue guy for the bench.
On the other hand, maybe someone like James Ennis would make more sense as he’s capable of bringing a valuable skill set to the team.
Ennis is a three-and-D player that had one of the most efficient shooting seasons of his career in 2020-21.
In 41 games (37 starts) with the Orlando Magic this past season, Ennis totaled 8.4 points and four rebounds per game while knocking down 43.3 percent of his threes.

Even though he wouldn’t have a clear role on the team to begin the season, Ennis could eventually see valuable minutes due to injuries or struggles from any of the other wing players on the roster.
