Isaiah Thomas is attempting to earn another shot in the NBA after a brief stint with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.

The score-first point guard dropped 81 points in a recent Pro-Am game, drawing buzz from fans on social media. There are reports that multiple teams could give Thomas consideration for a roster spot, including the Lakers.

Los Angeles has done a remarkable job addressing the point guard position this offseason, adding Westbrook and Nunn to their backcourt. But let’s say that Nunn doesn’t pan out or he sustains an injury?

If the Lakers take a flier on Thomas, they could just go from one left-handed point guard to another.
