3. Kendrick Nunn, Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Laker revamped their roster this offseason. Only four players, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and Talen Horton-Tucker played for the organization last season and are returning for this upcoming season.
A large portion of the roster that was under contract was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Russell Westbrook. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma and Montrezl Harrell all are now in Washington.
Armed with nothing more than their exceptions and veteran minimum deals, Rob Pelinka masterfully filled out the roster. The only player who received more than a veteran’s minimum was Kendrick Nunn, who was signed away from the Miami Heat.
Nunn signed a two-year, $10.3 million deal, which is an absolute steal. There were projections that Nunn would land a deal that paid him $11 million annually; Los Angeles won’t pay him that much for his entire contract.

Even if Nunn opts out after one season, the scoring punch he will provide for a contending team is more than enough to warrant a spot on this list. If they can develop the rest of his game, Los Angeles may opt to keep him long-term.
