Does this trade make sense for the Charlotte Hornets?
The Charlotte Hornets made some necessary moves to attempt to balance the rotation a bit this offseason. In the backcourt, Bouknight and Kelly Oubre Jr. were added to a loaded group. Jones was the piece in the frontcourt and there are still some moves to be made moving forward.
This could be one to keep an eye on. Bagley is still just 22 years old and has plenty of room to grow. During his three-year career, Bagley is averaging 14.5 pints and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
There were such high expectations coming into the league that Bagley was unable to reach but he could benefit from a change of scenery. Bagley has played with a dynamic guard in Sacramento and would have that chance again with Ball.
The Hornets are a fast-paced offense that can get up and down the floor. Bagley fits into that mold as an athletic center that can play above the rim. It is all about using him in the right way and the Hornets would have to have a plan here.

The Hornets are close to competing in the Eastern Conference. They can make the postseason next year if they continue to improve the rotation. This is a move that could bring a new dynamic and fill a big hole.
