Toronto Raptors Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, C James Wiseman, F Eric Paschall, MIN 2021 1st Round Pick (Pick #7), GSW 2021 1st Round Pick (Pick #14), GSW 2022 1st Round Pick (Top-5 Protected), GSW 2022 2nd Round Pick
The Golden State Warriors have missed the playoffs for back-to-back seasons now due to key injuries negatively impacting their roster, Klay Thompson has not played in a game since the 2019 NBA Finals and several other key talents have also missed time throughout the years.
Now, hopefully everybody will remain healthy for the Warriors’ sake as they look to get back to being true championship contenders. With Steph, Klay and Draymond, as well as Wiggins and Wiseman in their starting rotation, the Warriors definitely have a chance to be great once again, but they seem to be missing that one extra contributor on their roster.
Pascal Siakam has been rumored to be a guy Golden State is interested in adding and they could finally look to do so on draft night. Who knows what Toronto’s thought process is heading into the 2021 NBA Draft, but they could potentially look to leverage Siakam and their 4th overall selection to gain a ton of value from the Warriors.
Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman and Eric Paschall are all young talents who can contribute now for Toronto and they would also be getting both of the Warriors’ lottery-picks, giving them more chances to add young, high-level talents. With Kyle Lowry being an unrestricted free agent and likely to sign elsewhere in the offseason, a new era may be on the horizon for the Raptors, which is why they need young talents like they would get in this trade.

Pascal Siakam is a really talented, proven All-Star player, but the Raptors will not be able to contend in the Eastern Conference with him as their No. 1 option, which is why trading him now with his value being high is worthwhile.
Adding Siakam to this Warriors roster gives them four All-Star caliber players, plus the No. 4 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft which would likely be used to draft Jalen Suggs, one of the best guards in this year’s draft. The Warriors do have interest in trading up in the draft, especially if they could have a chance at drafting Jalen Suggs, according to NBA Draft insider Chad Ford.

They could very well hold onto both of their lottery picks in the 2021 NBA Draft, but the most logical move for Golden State if they were looking to acquire a relatively big name on draft night is to pull the trigger on a deal involving Pascal Siakam.
